Dakota Fanning

Dakota Fanning has been successful in translating adult world themes onto the movie screen, and in believable form. I have watched movies with children in and if the child actor/actress even smirks it kind of ruins the film for me. Dakota is a great actress, and I just recently watched her on C.S.I where she plays a little girl whose whole family is murdered, and there are some harrowing scenes of abuse to play… In one of her latest and most controversial roles she plays a young girl who is raped, and this sends her into depression and self destruction a tough role for a young actress. Dakota Fanning has been described as having an otherworldly look about her, and is called upon to carry great weight as a child actress:

Dakota’s astrological chart has Sun, Venus and Saturn in the sign of Pisces, I think this adds to her haunting appearance, and gives emotional depth. The Sun is conjunct Saturn in Pisces and this describes a hardworking nature and serious personality, but she has to be careful she is not too hard on herself, because she is an ambitious girl. Saturn also gives her bright, imaginative, sensitivity a heavier outlook. Perhaps in later years she may feel she missed out on childhood by working hard in such demanding and intense acting roles.

Dakota has Mercury retrograde in Aquarius conjunct Saturn, she thinks deeply, and will often display a cautious and serious nature; she can be a perfectionist and idealist. Dakota Fanning played this role in the movie Uptown Girls - a film about a little girl who finds it difficult to let go and have fun, she is extremely paranoid about germs and bacteria and acted beyond her age. Depression, self criticism and overwork are things she needs to watch out for. She has a thoughtful and tactful nature, and she may need time to carefully think things through before she reaches a conclusion on any matter.

The planet Pluto is powerful in her chart, she has Sun, Mercury, Mars and Saturn all square to Pluto (God of the Underworld, abuse, murder, rape, crime). Pluto is placed in it’s own sign of Scorpio! Dakota is channelling some pretty intense and heavy emotions. Traditional textbooks state that an individual born with a Mars-Pluto aspect can be subject to violence, sexual abuse, rape etc. Dakota is extremely brave playing the most disturbing and challenging of roles, and she has portrayed them all hauntingly well for a such a young girl. Raw emotions are rare to find in a child actor. Furthermore, Mars-Pluto has intense drive that needs to be channelled constructively. Dakota possesses the ability to express her powerful nature through her dramatic screen roles.
