Pluto transiting our own planets is where we might experience the underworld, it could be through emotional crisis, or a time of vulnerability. We may experience being manipulated and controlled against our will. For example, Patty Hearst the daughter of millionaire Randolph Hearst was abducted from the home she shared with her fiancee. The abductors burst into her home, beat her partner and carried Hearst kicking and screaming to the getaway car. Patty has a Librian Moon placed in the 2nd house of security and transiting Pluto moved to conjunct her natal Moon in 2nd within a 3 degree orb. Her security was about to be seriously invaded. The criminal world mad an entrance into her life. Transiting Jupiter was also conjunct Venus (usually beneficial!!), and T. Jupiter squared her natal Mars in Sagittarius 4th.
In myth Zeus (Jupiter) abducted many women, and often in disguise. We often only associate Pluto with abduction but Zeus can be far worse in my opinion, you only have to look at the amount of abductions happening abroad(Jupiter rules long distance travel). Zeus played an instrumental part in the abduction of Persephone, he secretly aided his brother’s plan, and in one version of the tale,Zeus, planted the flower to lure his daughter to abduction, and as she bent down to pick up the beautiful flower the ground opened below with Hades riding in on his chariot drawn by black horses and abducting Persephone.
Pluto in Patty’s chart is placed in the hidden 12th house of Leo, and it is disposited by Sun in Pisces (dipositor Jupiter) which is also opposed Pluto (Jupiter-Pluto theme). An interchange of energy involving her life force (Sun).
The little girl Madeline McCann was abducted abroad on holiday with her parents, sadly she still hasn’t been found. Natally she has a Mars/Jupiter/Neptune configuration, and transiting Jupiter was moving through (Sagittarius) and was conjunct Madeline’s natal Pluto, at the time of the abduction. A movie called “Taken” archetypes abduction into the underworld of an innocent girl, it’s very similar to the Hades myth and the abduction of Persephone. The movie hams up on the childlike naivety of the teenage daughter abducted. The young daughter is overprotected by her father (it was the mother in mythology) and her father is a retired C.I.A officer - he understands the evil and corruption in the world. The daughter tells a few white lies to her parents and travels with her friend on holiday alone with no parental guidance. She is targeted by Albanians who abduct both the girls, and then drug them up to the eyeballs and have them working as prostitutes/sold to wealthy businessmen.
