I got a book out the Library a few weeks back; it’s called Temples on the Other Side by Sylvia Brown. It’s actually due back and I haven’t read the entire book. I thought I would share some of the ideas before I return it. I was interested in reading her thoughts on the different temples in the after-life. One temple is called the Hall of Charts. As an astrologer this immediately caught my attention. Sylvia Brown calls herself a spiritual medium and she claims that can talk to the dead. Sylvia has come under heavy criticism over her “gift”. On the Montel Williams show she told a couple that their missing child was dead, and he later turned up alive! I don't know if her psychic powers are real or not. In any case, Sylvia claims to know what the other side is like, and she can give details of her 54 former lives through spirit guide Francine.
I will detail some of her thoughts regarding the Hall of Charts and you can come to your own conclusion. Sylvia has written an astrology book, and I have had the chance to read some of it. It is solely focused on Sun sign astrology, and there isn’t any real startling revelations inside. I am open to the psychic world, but I try to keep my critical hat on too. However, I will say that I enjoyed reading her thoughts concerning how we "plan our charts" and prepare for our next life.
Temples on the Other Side
1. Francine (Spirit Guide) says that creating a chart is a very intricate process that is considered to be time-consuming even on the other side, and it’s one of the most important things we do because it has so many facets to it. We want to advance our souls, so successful charts need to include all the different emotions or experiences that life has to offer.
2. Just like college, life on the Earth plane is a temporary experience and you have many subjects to study and learn from. You see counsellors (Council members and your spirit guide) before you start school and map out your curriculum (your chart) so that you can gain knowledge in the most efficient and quick way possible, and choose your major (your main life themes) and your minor (your option line or sub themes).
3. You then go to classes you’ve chosen (following your chart) and learn what each of them has to offer (living on Earth). If you don’t pass the course, you may have to take it again, or you might choose some electives to augment your overall education (reincarnation), but you’ll eventually graduate with a bachelors degree, a master’s or a PhD with your head held high. You’ll live for eternity fortified by everything you’ve learned.
4. We try to get as much assistance as we can while we are writing our charts, consulting with the council. Once the contact is completed and signed and we are incarnated, we can’t break them. All charts have options or tests inside of them, which we choose for the progression of our soul.
5. A chart must cover every single nuance and facet of experiences we’ll encounter in life, including our times of birth and death (with details of how we’ll die); our family members, friends, and loves; our marriage (s) or lack thereof; our children, if any, our grief’s, losses, gains, so called accidents, illnesses, and joys; where we live and move; our physical handicaps, if any; our gender, race, and ethic background; our religion; if any; our level of education. Everything is done in a huge meeting room in the hall of charts. We encounter numerous people who will have any kind of impact on our lives.
